Samsung Xcover E2370 New Phone with 22 Hours Talk Time

If you´re the kind of person who like his/her phone with a little more endurance than usual then you probably will want to check out the new Xcover E2370 cellphone from Samsung. While this phone breaks any fashion rule on existence you can be sure it will put up with anything ranging from a 3-floor fall to a coffee spill and still be brand new and function like nothing ever happened to it, keep in mind that this phone it´s best to use it only for calls and the occasional text message since as you can see, this phones was built to endure anything not to be the next iPhone killer.

The Xcover E2370 was constructed with a full body “armor” that can protect the phone from any “hostile” objects, also is IP54-certified, which is a one hell of a certification only a handful of mobile phones have and, to put it simply, it says that this phone is “dust and water jet resistant”, now imagine a guy with hose and a reversed vacuum full of dust point it to this baby with the sole purpose of destroying it (or just making it non-functional) and after a couple of hours of a water and dust hell the Xcover E2370 came out victorious.

This Samsung goodies also offers a very impressive 67-day standby time (and about 22 hours of talk time) so you can be sure you can take it anywhere for a couple of days without charge and you will still have a fully working phone. No one still knows when will be the release date in Europe, we just know that the phone will be available in Sweden starting this July for less than a hundred ($100) so it´ll probably arrived to the rest of Europe between mid-July and September, so in my very humble opinion this phone is one of the best bargains you´ll find this year (if you´re someone who constantly travels to the Africa deserts or the rain forest near the Amazon’s then this phone will work wonders for you).

Also some other basic features that this mobile has are a very decent GSM/EDGE connectivity, a TFT display of 128×160 pixels, Blue tooth, FM Radio, a camera of the VGA type, 5 MB of internal memory, a nice Micro SD card support up to 2GB (more than enough IMO) and just for fun I´ll tell you that this device only weights 115 ounces, almost nothing!

The durability of this phone is what interests me a lot.
