The latest Firefox browser version was just recently made available for the large public and as consequence, the download page was assaulted by huge numbers of fans who couldn’t wait to get their hands on it. The downloads for the Firefox 4 Beta 1 keep on going as users all over the world are upgrading their favorite internet browser.
At first sight, the Firefox 4 Beta 1 seems to be a hit as it comes with a lot of changes, the most obvious of which being the user interface which now somewhat resembles other internet browsers such as Google Chrome and Opera. The Windows aero glass aspect is integrated into the new Firefox browser which means that there are a lot of transparent objects such as inactive tabs and buttons. As always, the Firefox browser is extremely customizable when it comes to user interface, so it is possible to change the outlook of the new browser in order to make it look like the old one, in case you like it more or if you’re just not prepared for all these sudden changes.
However the biggest improvement which comes with the Firefox 4 Beta 1 is not a visual one. Until now, if you had some add-ons installed and a few navigation tabs opened, you had all the chances for your browser to almost grind to a hold as the navigation speed dramatically decreased. With the new update, the Friefox team seem to have solved this annoying problem by making the browser behave in a much more responsive way as before.
Another very important change is the addition of crash support, because let’s face it, the wide range of customization possibilities cause Firefox to sometimes crash most likely due to some conflicts. But now, with the new crash support option, you can easily find out what is causing the conflicts and you can then isolate the problem and solve it.
At the first sight the Firefox 4 Beta 1 seems like a solid step forward, but time will tell if it is indeed a real evolution as fans will download it and they’ll put it to all kinds of tests and stress situations.
i will gonna try this one right now.
No wonder it will resemble to google chrome since i think mozilla is owned by google too. What i like best with mozilla firefox is that i can customize it based on my needs.
I tried visiting the mozilla page but i cant able to find the download section for this firefox release.
anyone care to share the page here? has any body tried this one? speak out peeps.
thanks.
